Porto Cervo

Porto Cervo rises on a cape in a cove of the Arzachena Gulf, and it is the true center of the Costa Smeralda. This small village was born in 1962 for willing of prince Karim Aga Khan who, fascinated by the beauty of these coasts, built here the first hotel. Today Porto Cervo's life develops around the famous "piazzetta" and the small church of Stella Maris, projected by the architect Michele Busiri Vici. The harbour, called Porto Cervo Marina is one of the largest and more equipped of the Mediterranean and has more than 500 boat places.
